ONCE PROJECT: INCLUSION IN OUR SCHOOL!
The students of 6th grade of Primary School get involved in a project for the ONCE foundation.
The aim of this project is to work around the inclusion in the school in order to learn that together we will work better. At the same time, with this project students learned that the inclusive education not only benefits students with disabilities, but also creates an environment in which every student, including those who do not have disabilities, has the opportunity to flourish. For that reason, we will get together in order to create this atmosphere in our school.
The first thing that they have done was create a mural with their own ideas about the inclusion in our school. Then, they had to record an audio explaining those ideas they have previously represented in their murals, so that people with visual disabilities also have access to their work. For recording the audio, they used the rhythm of a song and they created their own song with their own lyrics.
A few days ago, we delivered all the material we have previously created to the ONCE foundation and now, we are waiting to see if we have won any prize in the contest.
WISH US LUCK!
Here you have some photos of the material they have created and their creative songs:
They have created a folding screen for visual work and they have used “Everybody” song of the Backstreet Boys musical group.
They have created a roulette for visual work and they have used “Titanium” song of David Guetta.
